Series History: Purdue vs. Northern Iowa
• Sunday's dual will be the Boilermakers' first trip to Cedar Falls since 2001 and the first meeting since 2009, when they defeated the Panthers 24-9 in a neutral site dual held in Evanston, Ill. Northern Iowa leads the all-time series, which dates back to
1929, 13-5.
Scouting the Panthers
• UNI is coming off of a pair of dramatic home duals last weekend. First, on Feb. 7, the Panthers' recorded a milestone victory, a 24-13 win over Iowa State for their win over the Cyclones since 2004 and its largest margin of victory since a 22-6 drumming in
1951. Two days later, the fifth-ranked Northern Iowa squad escaped an upset bid by Kent State on criteria, 19-18. Dylan Peters' major decision at 125 tied the dual at 18-18, but it was the one-point match point difference (59-58) clinched the Panthers' 11th
win. UNI is just one of two undefeated teams in the top 25. Fourth-ranked Cornell is the other unbeaten at 10-0.
• The highlight bout of the dual will be at 133 pounds as 13th-ranked Cashé Quiroga meets
top-ranked Joe Colon. The senior Panther shocked then-No. 1 A.J. Schopp of Edinboro by decision and pinned then-No. 2 Tony Ramos in 2:37 in the Midlands semifinals and finals, respectively, to rocket to the No. 1 spot at 133, a post he has held for four weeks.
During the 2013-14 season, Colon has defeated five top-10 ranked opponents.
• Quiroga and Colon are both explosive, high-scoring grapplers. In his 17 matches this season, Quiroga has tallied five decisions, four majors, three falls and one tech fall, including a 19-6 major decision of then-No. 11 Zane Richards of Illinois on Feb. 7.
Fifteen of Colon's 25 wins have resulted in bonus points with nine tech falls and a trio of majors and pins. Colon's only loss of the season came at the hands of Ohio State's Johnni DiJulius, a 6-2 decision on Dec. 7. Quiroga defeated the Buckeye, 7-5, on
Feb. 3
• UNI boasts a pair of top-10 leaders in Colon with his nine tech falls and Peters at 125, who is tied for fifth with 10 pins this season.

Eppert is 63-57 with win No. 60 coming as he upended then-No. 15 Nick Roberts of Ohio State, 5-3, on Feb. 3.
• Braden Atwood's 3-1 decision over Illinois' Jeff

• After wrestling the first 21 matches of his Purdue career at 149 for a record of 15-6, including two dual appearances, Alex
Griffin made his debut in the lineup at 157 versus Nebraska. The redshirt freshman won his first Big Ten dual match by defeating Ohio State's Randy Languis, 3-1.
• Alex White reached the 40-win mark at 285 with a
thrilling 7-4 tiebreaker decision of Tyler Houska of Ashland on Jan. 19.
