The Team Battle
You're kidding yourself if you don't think Team Illinois is the favorite. They've a history of domination at Junior Duals, and considering that PA is NOT sending teams...picking a team champion, in both greco and freestyle, seems pretty easy. Actually...let me take that back. There is this nasty little group of midwestern boys, i.e Team Oklahoma, that boasts a lineup as talented as that from IL. Oklahoma brings an arsenal of veterans and nationally ranked stars: Gfellar, Brock, Harding, Moore, Blaylock, Smith, Rogers, Dixon bro's! Bottom line: over half of their starters have AA'd at Fargo before. I'll take a deeper look at how the IL and OK line ups compare further in the week.
SuperStars
Take a look above: roughly half a dozen wrestlers ranked in the top 5, from Oklahoma alone. Add to that fan favorites like Mark Hall, Ryan Blees, Kamal Bey, Taylor Lamont, Larry Early, etc. There should be a lot of wicked match ups this weekend, especially in the middle weights.
