Alum Millhof Makes His WNO Picks
Alum Millhof Makes His WNO Picks
Last night, two-time Super 32 champ, Ryan Millhof tweeted this...
He's a favorite of ours, impressing us not only with his wrestling last year at Who's #1, but also with his maturity and humbleness.
I mean, the kid defied everyone by beating Fargo Champ Jered Cortez via a super sick duck.
So we said, 'hey go for it.' Unfortunately, his picks were the same as Nick's, so of course he's doomed.
Here's what Ryan had to say...
WNO Picks:
106: Olivia's > Tesdale
Millhof: I think the aggressiveness of Olivas can overcome Teasdale.
150: Early > Smith
Millhof: Early is just a hammer, he seemed to control the match last time with Smith. So I trust in the same outcome.
120: Suriano > Fix
Millhof: I know Fix got the better of him last time, but Suriano is the man. I think he can start to finally open up Fix, and if he does then he'll take this match...I can't bet against Suriano!
195: Steveson > Ritter
Millhof: Stevenson needs to score on his short offense. I agree with the "Keys to Victory" on that. If he does that, and I think he will, he controls the match.
138: Hayes > Kolodzik
Millhof: I think Hayes being stingy with points and his quick shots will take the match here.
145: White > McFadden
Millhof: White can really open up a match and score a lot. We saw that at Fargo against the best guys. I think if he keeps that up, he'll take this match.
132: Headlee > McKee
Millhof: I think Headlee's good offense and feet movement will be able to get McKee. He has to stay away from upper body throws!
126: Brock > Piccininni
Millhof: Both guys are slick, I see Brock getting the early takedown and really opening up the match.
145: Joseph > Stroker
Millhof: The solid position and brute strength will be challenging for the slick trickster Stroker again.
182: Martin > Z. Valencia
Millhof: Martins offense is hard to stop. Zahid has good defense but I don't think he can stop Martin the entire bout.
170: Hall > A. Valencia
Millhof: I'm going Hall here. If he can keep good position and finish his shots, he can walk away with the win. He has to stop the double! Going to be a lot of action!
