Olympian Ben Askren Headlines FPL 4 Card
Olympian, 2x NCAA Champ, World Champion MMA Fighter and overall personality extraordinaire, Ben Askren headlines FPL 4 on January 25th, 2015 at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, Wisconsin. The former Missouri Tiger and current One FC champ will take on NCAA finalist and World Cup Champion, Clayton Foster.

"I am pumped to be competing in FPL against someone as high level as Clayton Foster," said Askren. "My whole life I have looked for challenges and this is a big one, I am looking to show the wrestling world I am still one of the best in America. "
One should note that Askren, who competes as an MMA welterweight (170lbs), will be bumping up in weight to 190lbs to take on Foster. Clayton Foster believes this disparity in weight will affect the fight, and he wasn't exactly shy in his response to Askren.
"I am one of the top wrestlers in America, " said Foster. "And Ben is too old and too small to handle me. I can't wait to beat Ben Askren on January, 25th."
Seems I forgot to mention "old." Foster sees his being 4 years younger than Askren a key advantage in the bout as well.
The FPL 4 co-main event features two wrestlers who wow-ed the crowd at FPL 3: scramble ninja Max Askren and the highly explosive Deron Winn. Askren, who won an NCAA title in 2010, took down 3x NCAA All American Jordan Blanton at the Flo Premier League's December 24th event. He expects to do the same against JUCO national champion and Cyclone Wrestling Club member, Deron Winn.
"At FPL 3, I showed everyone that Jordan Blanton couldn't hang with my scrambling, and I don't think Deron Winn will be able to match it either," said Max Askren when asked about a possible styles-clash with Winn.
The undercard will feature collegiate All Americans from a variety of divisions, including Joe Colon, Jason Welch, Craig Becker and Nazar Kluchytskyy.
