Notes: 57kg looks to be the toughest weight at the Schultz this year. Joe Colon comes in with a win over Conor Beebe at FPL4 and a first place finish at the Bill Farrell, where he topped Dan Mitcheff 13-6. Colon also has a win over Precin, who has a win over Escobedo…. Crazy.
Mitcheff beat former Olympian, Sam Hazewinkle at the Farrell. He also had a pin over Andrew Hochstrasser. At the 2014 US Open he topped Tyler Graff in the third place match.
Tyler Graff has competed on a JR World Team and a University World Team, and has taken home a third palce finish at the 2013 US Open. Adding to this gauntlet of a weight is Mehmed Feraim from Bulgaria who finished 8th at the Worlds this past year.

Joey McKenna was 2nd at the Junior World Championships this past year and look great. He can really do well in this bracket. Hochstrasser is a 2014 US Open finalist at 57kg dropping his bout to Hazewinkle

Notes: Another bracket loaded with talent here at 65kg. India’s Yogeshwar Dutt had a third place finish at the 2012 Olympics. Boris Novachkov has a third place finish under his belt at the European Championships.
Reece Humphrey, Jordan Oliver and Zain Retherford add a ton of depth here. Humphrey and Oliver have met before at the 2014 World Team Trials where Oliver pulled away with the win. Oliver also has a win over Bulgarian entrant Boris Novachkov at Beat The Streets.
A first round rematch between Novachkov and Mangrum is set and if its anything like the last time they wrestled, you wont want to miss it!

Mason Manville struggled in his senior level debut yesterday in Greco, but you can never count an athlete like him out. Nazar Kulchystskyy won three D3 National titles and is coming off a dominant win at FPL4.
India’s Parven is returning to the Schultz after winning it last year. In 2011 he had a third place finish at Worlds

Jason Welch is coming off a super exciting win over Craig Becker at FPL4 highlighted with a huge throw, so expect him to put on a show. Georgi Ivanov is making the trip back to Colorado Springs from Bulgaria looking to take home his second Dave Schultz Title.
