As we approach our 6th FloNational Tournament we will once again be bringing Stud Alerts of all the top competition from around the country that will be scraping for the deepest all-class folkstyle national championship in the country.

Returning 160-pound champ Xavier Montalvo of Montini, an Illinois commit, will be at this year’s FloNational tournament looking to take home another belt at 160.

                            

Montalvo, who is ranked 9th in the ASICS FloRankings and 13th on our Senior Big Board, is a three-time Class 2A state champ from Illinois. En route to his third title this season he recorded three tech falls and a 33 second pin in the opening round of the tournament.

The 2013 Jr. Greco runner-up is ready to go after another FloNats title.
