As we approach our 6th FloNational Tournament we will once again be bringing Stud Alerts of all the top competition from around the country that will be scraping for the deepest all-class folkstyle national championship in the country.

The eight grader that caught everyone’s eye after knocking off some of the nation’s best has returned a year later. Sammy Sasso of Nazareth, currently ranked 19th in the ASICS FloRankings and 13th on our Freshman Big Board, is back again in a loaded 125 pound field.

                               

Sasso, who finished his freshman season as a state runner-up along with District 11 and Northeast Regional titles, also placed fifth at the Beast of the East. After a fifth place finish at last year’s FloNats tournament, Sasso will have to take on some of the best in the country to take home a belt.
