The stories of the day were Kyle Dake and Jayson Ness. Dake returned to the mat, and did so in dominate fashion. The former four-time national champion recorded tech falls in every match, and only surrendered two points the entire day. Also worth mentioning, Dake knocked off high school junior Mason Manville 11-0.  It will be interesting to see if Kid Dynamite decides to compete in the U.S. Open next week. 

Jayson Ness returned to the mat for the first time since he won a national title in 2010. Much like Dake, Ness dominated his way to the title earning tech falls in four of his five matches. It will also be interesting to see if Ness enters the U.S. Open next weekend. 

Also of note, Joey Lazor picked up a nice win over Jarrod Garnett, and could be a sleeper next week at the Open. 

Finally, Connor Medberry looked good en route to a title, and like Lazor could be a sleeper next weekend at the Open.
