Senior Send-Off: Michael Kemerer

In the state of Pennsylvania it’s rare to have a four-time state finalist, but Michael Kemerer did exactly. Heading into his senior campaign Kemerer was a three-time state runner-up, but finally broke through as a senior and got it done. Not only did he get it done, but he did so in the toughest state bracket in the country.

Kemerer also left his mark on the prestigious Powerade tournament. Kemerer was a four-time Powerade finalist winning the title as a freshman, junior, and senior, and finishing as a runner-up as a sophomore.

Kemerer also made history this past fall becoming the first ever Super 32 finalist. Kemerer was a champion as a senior and freshman, and runner-up as a sophomore and junior. Watch Kemerer knock off four-time Iowa state champion, Max Thomsen, in this past seasons Super 32 final.

Finally, the future Iowa Hawkeye saw plenty of success at Ironman where he was a three-time All-American, two-time finalists, taking second as a junior, and was a champion as a senior.

Kemerers finished off his school career by reprsenting Team Pennsylvania at the Dapper Dan, and once again knocking off Max Thomsen. Kemerer'sprep career is nothing short of brilliant, and we are extremely excited to see what he does in the black and gold.
