2014 Pop & Flo Highlight

FloWrestling is back to multi-event LIVE weekends! This weekend, we are LIVE from the Pop and Flo National Duals in beautiful Lake Placid as well as the Body Bar Women's National Championships in Irving, Texas. Both events span two days, lasting from 5/16-5/17.

Pop and Flo's annual National Duals stands as one of the most exciting dual tournaments in the Northeast and traditionally pits the toughest New York clubs vs the toughest New Jersey clubs through the course of one wild weekend. It was, however, a Pennsylvania team (the Dark Knights WC) that stole the show last year. The team headed by then seniors Zeke Moisey (NCAA Runner-Up), Scotty Park (Lehigh starter) and junior high phenom Sammy Sasso steamrolled through a slew of Jersey teams to eventually top defending champ, Ironhorse, in the finals. The highlight of the entire of event though is the All-Star dual, which assembles the best wrestlers from all participating clubs in the tournament.

Last weekend, we saw the best high school aged men wrestle at the UWW Junior Nationals. This weekend, we turn towards the women. The top Cadet and Junior women wrestlers will go head-to-head this weekend in Irving, TX. The event is highlight by Kayla Miracle and Alexis Porter, defending Body Bar national champions who are also ranked top three on the US senior ladder!
