Jordan Burroughs is one badass dude. There’s really no other way to put it.
Time after time he has proved that the 74kg spot is his, and it will take more than a stick of "dynamite" to unseat him. After Kyle Dake dismantled David Taylor in the challenge tournament finals, he stepped up to take on JB with the World Team spot on the line. Dake came out strong and, in true "Kid Dynamite" fashion, wasn’t backing down from the reigning champ.

However, it wouldn’t matter. After a tough first match won by Burroughs, the three-time World Champ came out firing and was one turn away from recording a technical fall over Dake in less than 20 seconds when he collected a quick takedown and tied up a leg lace.
After Dake attempted to mount a comeback with some points of his own, Burroughs ended the match dominantly to record the 14-4 tech.
It’s that type of badassery that solidifies Burroughs as the FloWrestler of the Week.

Holmes’ pick: Mark Hall, Minnesota Storm
He further cemented his placement as the pound-for-pound best high school wrestler on the planet. After teching Chance Marsteller in 28-seconds in the first match, he pinned him in the second. The Cadet World Champ was truly incredible as he put an exclamation point on his 74kg Junior World Team spot.

Bratke’s pick: Jake Herbert, Cliff Keen Wrestling Club
His (Double Leg) Ninja style has proved once again to be too much. With a 13-3 tech fall and a 10-2 decision over Ed Ruth in the finals we now know that Herbert can in fact handle “The Truth.” He has stuck to his game plan, made his adjustments and is well on his way to making more history.

CP’s pick: Kyle Snyder, TMWC
Including his impressive win in the ASICS U.S. Open finals, Snyder has now defeated Olympic Gold Medalist Jake Varner three straight times. The third and final win made the Ohio State true freshman the youngest U.S. World Team Member since Henry Cejudo accomplished the feat in 2006.
