Sammy Brooks was the Hawkeye hero with his quick technical fall victory over Jordan Rogers.  The dual was nip and tuck the entire way.  The two extra bonus points sealed the Iowa win over Oklahoma State in a dual that featured TONS of great action.  Full results below. 

125 #3 Thomas Gilman, Iowa vs #7 Eddie Klimara, Oklahoma State
1st Period: Underway here.  Coach Brands has a stocking cap on haha.  Here we go!  Crowd looks huge. Both guys exchange head taps then Gilman gets to an underhook. Klimara shoots Gilman out of bounds, official signals action, no stall warning. Shot from Klimara, front headlock for Gilman.  Another shot from Klimara, front headlock again for Gilman.  1 minute to go. Ankle pick by Klimara, Gilman steps out, then Klimara shoots a double leg out of bounds.  Gilman nearly had an angle and the crowd comes to life.  Klimara holding onto elbows.  Gilman comes around from that whizzer and sticks a boot in for 2 at the end of the first!  2-0 Gilman after 1! 

2nd Period: Gilman takes bottom and gets away in 17 seconds.  3-0 Gilman. Klimara earns his second stall warning(missed the first).  So now it's 4-0 Gilman.  Single from Gilman makes it 6-0 and that's how the 2nd ends!  Klimara looks weary. 

3rd Period: Klimara chooses bottom. Gilman riding with a spiral. Escape for Klimara he has 50 seconds of riding time. 6-1 Gilman leads. 45 to go,  Gilman gets to a single, Klimara rubber knees and it's potentially dangerous.  33 to go. TD Gilman and a rideout will give him the major!  Stall warning on Gilman for dropping to the leg.  Gilman just shoves Klimara in the back.  John Smith is furious as is Guerrero.  Yet somehow Oklahoma State bench gets warned.  Rideout for Gilman and it's a 9-1 major for Gilman.

133 #2 Cory Clark, Iowa vs Gary Wayne Harding, Oklahoma State
1st Period: Here we go!  Gary Wayne takes a bit to get out here but there he is.  Clark goes 2 on 1 and tries to slipe a near leg in.  Can't get the finish out of bounds.  Clark shoots and gets the finish for a 2-0 lead.  TIGHT bar and half for Clark and he's got the count!  Harding in trouble!  4 point nearfall makes it 6-0.  Nice mat return from Clark but Harding escapes with 15 to go in the 1st.  Period ends 6-1 Clark. 

2nd Period: Clark chooses bottom. Harding gets double legs in but is a bit high.  Clark trying to come out the back door.  Clark gets his 2nd caution.  1:10 to go, Clark comes up and out making it 7-1. Clark gets to the leg again from the 2 on 1, but Harding dives under and passes the leg.  Good scramble as the period ends.

3rd Period: Harding chooses bottom.  Clark riding tough as RT is now over 1 minute.  PD called with 1:18 to go. Clark gives up the escape making it 7-2 with riding time potentially coming.  Late shot by Clark but Harding passes the leg as time expires and it's an 8-2 decision.

141 Logan Ryan, Iowa vs #5 Dean Heil, Oklahoma State
1st Period: Big spot for Oklahoma State to get back on track here. Heil gives his face a good slap and we're under way! Shot by Ryan and an easy go-behind for Heil makes it 2-0.  Heil gives up the escape after riding for 25.  2-1 with 1:50 to go.  Nice single by Heil, looking to come out the back door, Ryan able to hold on for the stalemate. More hand fighting and the 1st ends 2-1.  

2nd Period: Ryan takes bottom. Heil working the wrist out to the side.  Good pressure from Heil but not working towards the turn.  Now he has the break down.  Ryan builds up and RT is now over a minute.  Warning for stalling against Ryan.  20 to go.  RT at 2:05 and climbing. 
There's the rideout.  2-1 Heil after 2.

3rd Period: Heil chooses bottom. Heil up to his feet.  3-1 after the escape.  2:20 of RT for Heil.  Ryan with a few attacks but can't score.  Nice high crotch and finish by Heil makes it 5-1 with riding time locked.  Heil working for the turn but can't get it.  Stall point for Heil makes it 7-1 with riding time.

149 #3 Brandon Sorensen, Iowa vs #9 Anthony Collica, Oklahoma State 
1st Period: Here they are!  Maybe the match of the dual on tap. 2:15 in not a lot going on. 
QUICK single and finish for Sorensen makes it 2-0 Sorensen with 1:13 to go! Sorensen hits him with a suckback for 2 more!  4-0 Sorensen! Rideout makes it 4-0 with 1:20 of RT for Sorensen.

2nd Period: Sorensen chooses bottom.  Sorensen up and out right away makes it 5-0!  Another single by Sorensen but he runs out of time and can't finish.  

3rd Period: Collica takes bottom. Quick escape makes it 5-1 with RT at 1:22 for Sorensen and Collica gets warned for stalling. Nice single by Collica and he's got Sorensen on one foot but Sorensen frees his leg.  Another shot by Collica.  Now Sorensen shoots.  Match ends 6-1 with RT for Sorensen!  Big win for Iowa!

1st Period: Here we go!  Big match for both guys, Marsteller throws a headlock but backs out of it! Near arm-far leg for 2 poins for Marsetller.  He's going to work on top looking for wrists. Chance tilts him over for 4!  6-0 Chance.  Cooper escapes making it 6-1.  Cooper shoots and finishes on the edge making it 6-3 at the end of the first.    Rideout for Cooper and Chance is very tired already.

2nd Period: Marsteller takes bottom.  He is tired. Cooper breaks him down.  They're fired up in Kinnick and working for a stall warning. Chance builds up to a tripodi.  Warning against Chance.  6-4 after the stall point.  Cooper looks for the pin but Marstller reverses him to his back!  Makes it 10-4 Marsteller then another turn for Marsteller makes it 12-4 after the Cooper escape!  Warning against Marsteller makes it 12-5 after 2!

3rd Period: Cooper escapes to make it 12-6.  Double by Cooper for 2 makes it 12-8!  Cooper gets Chance in a front headlock he drives him out of bounds for another point.  13-9 Chance leads.  13-11 now with the go behind.  Chance not working up.  24 to go.  Chance just hanging onto the leg.  14-11 with 12 to go.  Chance hangs on.  Barely.  14-11.

1st Period: Here comes Oklahoma States big gun! Rhoads gets the nod, not Paddock for Iowa. Rhoads held him to a major last year in the dual.  Ankle pick for 2 for Dieringer.  Rhoads up and out right away making it 2-1. Interlocking fingers warning.  Re-attack double by Dieringer makes it 4-1.  Escape makes it 4-2 with 30 to go.  Single by Dieringer makes it 4-2.  Warning against Rhoads.  Double makes it 6-2 after 1!

2nd Period: Dieringer takes bottom. Up and out and it's 7-2 with 29 seconds of RT for Dieringer.  Dieringer tying him up but Rhoads not really engaging.  Another shot attempt from Dieringer.  Rhoads just haning in the ties.  Quick double and finish and it's 9-2 heading into the 3rd. 

3rd Period: Rhoads takes bottom.  RT at 48 for Dieringer after the Rhoads escape and it's 10-3. Go behind for Dieriner and it's 12-4 after the escape.  Double for Dieringer and it's 14-4 with RT over a minute.  TD seals the major for Dieringer.

1st Period: Here we go!  BIG ONE HERE! Double right away for Crutchmer.  Headlock by Crutchmer and he's looking for the fall!  6-0 at least.  Headlock became illegal so it's 6-1 just like that for Crutchmer.  6-2 after the escape.  1:35 to go.  Not sure about the RT situation.   Takedown Meyer makes it 6-4 with 52 to go.  Rideout for Meyer makes it 6-4 after 1. 

2nd Period: Meyer chooses bottom and escapes immediately.  6-5 Crutchmer now. Double by Crutchmer and it's 8-6 after an immediate escape by Meyer.  Meyer in on the leg and it's 8-8! Rideout for Meyer!

3rd Period: Crutchmer takes bottom.  Two cautions on Crutchmer now!  Crutchmer up and out and it's 9-8 but he escapes out of bounds and gives up the stall point!  9-9 but riding time for Meyer so Crutchmer needs a point. Crutchmer takes a high crotch finishes with a double to make it 11-9!  RT at 1:03!  26 to go.  Erases RT and HOLDS ON 11-10!

1st Period: Iowa needs this one in a bad way. Hard hand fight early here with Brooks pursuing.  Single by Brooks with an easy finish to go up 2-0. Escape for Rogers makes it 2-1. Easy single and easy finish once more!  Brooks looking to ride here up 4-1 now.  Tilt for Brooks and it's 8-1! Now 12-1 with another tilt!

2nd Period: Brooks goes bottom.  Escape and a quick go behind and it's 15-1.  Escape for Rogers and it's 15-2.  TD Brooks!  There's the Tech!

1st Period: Here we go. Boyd bumps up and gets the nod!  Boyd in on low shot here and working for the finish.  Bpydnow trying to come out the back door. Stalemate and scoreless with 2 minutes left. TD Burak makes it 2-0.  Escape for Boyd and it's 2-1. Boyd kicks out of a Burak attack. That's it for 1.

2nd Period: Burak chooses bottom. Escape for Burak makes it 3-1. Errant shot by Boyd and it's an easy go behind for Burak to make it 5-1.  1:02 to go. Escape Boyd and it's 5-2. 

3rd Period: Boyd chooses bottom. He's out right away.  5-3 Burak leads.  Shot by Boyd and it's stalemated. Another shot by Boyd but the hips of Burak are too strong.  Another shot from Boyd but he can't get the angle.  35 to go.  5-3 the final!

285 Sam Stoll, Iowa vs #4 Austin Marsden, Oklahoma State
1st Period: Here we go.  Austin Marsden needs a pretty heroic performance to earn his team the win. Stoll is going to be tough to open up.   Stoll getting to his underhook on the left side.  Marsden clears.  90 seconds to go. Stoll takes a shot and takes him off the mat for a stall warning against Marsden.  

2nd Period: Marsden takes bottom.  Standup for Marsden and it's 1-0. Marsden backs out of bounds and that makes it 1-1 Stoll!  Big double for Marsden and it's 3-1 after 2!

3rd Period: Stoll takes neutral!  Half shot by Stoll and it's another TD for Marsden making it 5-1 Marsden.  Marsden gets the ride out but Stoll hangs on and Iowa wins!  Marsden wins 5-1.
