Virginia Duals

Nicknamed the “grandaddy of them all,” the 2016 Virginia Duals will once again live up to its nickname. With three high school divisions, and two college divisions, Virginia will be home to some of the nation’s best wrestling this weekend. #7 Virginia Tech and #17 Old Dominion will headline the college field rounded out by: Arizona State, Bucknell, Campbell, Chattanooga, George Mason, Grand Canyon, Iowa State, Kent State, Rider, and The Citadel. Nazareth (PA), Colonial Forge (VA), and St. Augustine Prep (NJ) leads the national high school field. Virginia Duals brackets:

Geary Invitational

A week after being upset by then #7 St. Paris Graham, #6 Blair Academy will look to get back on track at the historic Geary Invitational. A season ago, Blair Academy made their debut at Geary and edged a Broken Arrow team led by Pup Simmons and Davion Jeffries, and a Stillwater squad led by Kaid Brock and Jo Jo Smith. This year the Bucs will be pushed by #12 Tuttle (OK) and Sand Springs (OK) led by Daton Fix.
Doc Buchanan Invitational

Historically one of the premiere high school tournaments in California, this year Doc Buchanan is one of the best tournaments in the country! #2 Bergen Catholic (NJ), #4 Buchanan (CA), and #5 Clovis (CA) will all be in attendance! The team race will be even more intense factoring in Buchanan and Clovis are cross town rivals. This will also be a nice preview from next weekendÂ’s WhoÂ’s #1 Duals where Bergen Catholic and Clovis will be trying to win a national title.
