J'Den Cox To Compete At 2016 Olympic Trials At 86kg
Every NCAA Champion gets an automatic bid to the 2016 Olympic Trials at Iowa City.  With J'Den Cox having won 2016 NCAA Championships at 197 pounds over Morgan McIntosh, the option was there.  Would the 197 pound champ follow Kyle Snyder's lead and enter 97 kg? As a large 197 pounder, perhaps J'Den would try his luck at 125?

None of the above!  J'Den Cox is going to make the cut down to 86 kilograms (189.5 pounds).  Cox entered the mix 2 years ago after winning NCAA's at 97 kilo's.  In that tournament he upset #1 seed Wynn Michalak before falling to Deron Winn and JD Bergman.

Now J'Den will enter the fray against the likes of Jake Herbert, Kyle Dake, David Taylor, Ed Ruth and more.  J'Den let the world know he'd be getting light for Iowa City via Twitter:
