We don't know when, but Kyle Snyder is apparently more than a little interested in trying his luck in the Octagon. The 2016 Olympic Champion, who was in attendance for this weekend's UFC 203 in Cleveland, Ohio sent out the following tweet on Saturday.
I want to fight @ufc

Snyder also caught up with UFC Champ and former Missouri wrestler Tyron Woodley.

Snyder is heading into his Junior season for Ohio State. The 285 pounder was the NCAA Champion last year and will look to defend his title. Snyder won the Olympics at 213 pounds this August.
At around 3:20 of the above interview from October of 2015, Kyle mentions his aspirations to wrestle in 5 Olympic Games. That would take him to 2032, when he would be 36 years old.
Who knows what the tweet means in conjunction with his previously stated long-term goals. Could his wrestling career get cut short for a move to the Octagon? Will he pick it up and try to juggle both? Regardless of when/if and how he makes the transition, you'd have to expect success for the guy who has won everything there is to win in wrestling, by age 20.
As he's been able to do in his wrestling career, he'll have the option of two potential weight classes. The light heavyweight class is at 93kg or 205 pounds. He could also fight at 120.2kg which is 265 pounds. Considering Snyder's skill set, work ethic and physicality, there's little suggest anything but a seamless transition to MMA for Kyle.
