As the Who's #1 card nears completion, we have one more exciting match to announce. Top-ranked Daton Fix will take on No. 2 Austin Gomez inside the Snakepit. Watch Who's #1 LIVE on Sunday, October 2, at 5 PM (EST).



Fix will make his third appearance at Who's #1, fresh off an incredible performance at Junior Worlds where he brought home a bronze medal. Fix is also a cadet world bronze medalist. In his prior appearances at Who's #1, Fix took part in the longest high school match of all time with Nick Suriano and handled Rudy Yates last year. Fix is also a three-time Oklahoma state champion and a former Fargo champion.

Iowa State commit Austin Gomez will make his first appearance inside the Snakepit, following his title win at Fargo. Gomez is already a two-time Illinois state champ and was a double Pan-American cadet champion last summer.

These two are no strangers to each other. They met in the Junior World Team Trial finals, and Fix took the series in straight matches. Expect a much closer contest in folkstyle.
