Best Matches From The Golden Grand Prix
We put together a little compilation of some of our favorite matches from this year's Golden Grand Prix. Kick back on this Thanksgiving wrestling and enjoy some of the best freestyle wrestling in the world.

57kg

We went with a fun criteria battle between a Russian and an Iranian here. Rustam Ampar is one of the most explosive 57kg on the Russian ladder and many consider Reza Atri the future of Iran at this weight.

61kg

Have we ever seen Yowlys Bonne Rodriguez get dominated like this? Between this and the Rahimi match at the Olympics, we may finally be seeing the decline of YBR. Akhmednabi Gvarzatilov finally put together his best tournament since 2013 when he won junior worlds and Golden Grand Prix that year.

65kg

This one had a bit of everything. An Olympian in Meisam Nasiri against a world medalist in Magomed Kurbanaliev. Trading four point throws (seriously, Nasiri's is beautiful). A big comeback, singlet grabbing and a late flurry. Just press play.

70kg

Orkhan Abasov did an excellent job of getting in deep on shots, but the leg defense of Israil Kasumov is just absurd this match.

74kg

Let's just say these two let it fly.

86kg

A controversial shot clock point dooms the junior world champ Mojtaba Goleij

97kg

You hate wrestling if you don't want to see how Reineris Salas Perez does against world champ Abdusalam Gadisov.

125kg

It's always enjoyable to see heavyweights blow open a match late.
