Relive Logan Stieber's World Title Run
Logan Stieber has won at every stage of his wrestling career, including now a world title at the senior level.

He was named FloWrestler of the Week for his incredible run in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday, which we wanted to share with you below. Congratulations to Stieber on his 61kg gold medal!

Round of 16

To start off the day, Stieber had to wrestle 2015 world bronze medalist Vasyl Shuptar of Ukraine. Shuptar had also won a world university title in 2012, had been world military runner-up in September and another bronze at the 2013 world university games. He is considered one of the most difficult wrestlers in the world to score on, unless of course, you're Logan Stieber.

Stieber wins 10-0 over Ukraine's Vasyl Shuptar.

Quarterfinals

Russian Akhmed Chakaev was a hidden gem in the international wrestling community because he had never been selected to represent Russia in a world or European championship until this weekend. He has won five medals at the Ivan Yarygin, perenially considered one of, if the not the toughest tournament in the world. He has wins over Olympic gold medalist Vladimer Khinchegashvili, two-time world champ Haji Aliyev, and the above mentioned  Vasyl Shuptar.

Stieber takes down Russia's Akhmed Chakaev for a 13-11 victory.

Semifinals

Behnam Ehsanpoor was supposed to be one of the next big things coming out of Iran after he won a junior world title in 2012 at 60kg. A runner-up finish at the next year's world university  games only seemed to cement that in the minds of many pundits. However, he wold have to "settle" for back-to-back silvers at the Asian championships, and was one one second away from making the finals on Saturday.

Stieber holds off Iran's Behnam Ehsanpoor 9-8.

Finals

This was unquestionably Beka Lomtadze's breakout performance. The Georgian first turned heads by finished second at last year's European Games a few months after he took a bronze at the extremely tough Takhti Cup in Iran. He has always been considered incredibly strong for this weight, but had never consistently been able to finish on the podium.

Stieber topples Georgia's Beka Lomtadze 8-4 to secure the 61kg world title.
