Bashir Babajanzadeh Darzi, a 2012 World University Games Champion, and two time Olympic representative for the Islamic Republic Of Iran has tested positive for an anabolic steroid that is found on the banned substance list as reported presstv.ir. Bashir's sample at the 2016 Greco World cup was the one that came up positive. The Iranian squad blanked Russia in the finals 8-0 to win the world cup on their home soil of Shiraz. Bashir Babajanzadeh Darzi will receive a 4 year suspension from United World Wrestling making him ineligible to compete in any UWW sanctioned events until 2020.
