Josiah Rider Commits To Nebraska
Josiah Rider has verbally commited to wrestle for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Josiah Rider has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Nebraska. The junior from Grand Junction, Colorado, is currently ranked fourth overall at 145 pounds. He projects as a 149/157 at the Division I level.
A Greco specialist, Rider has made a big jump this year on the folkstyle circuit. He has made the finals of both Super 32 and Ironman after winning a 5A state title last season with just one loss.

Rider was also in the finals of the UWW Junior Greco nationals at 70kg and was runner-up to Max Wohlabaugh at the UWW Cadet Trials in Akron, Ohio. He is No. 17 on the class of 2018 Big Board, the highest-ranked junior from Colorado and second overall behind Sammy Sasso at 145 pounds.
The Huskers had a strong but small class sign in the early period. Mikey Labriola, Jason Renteria, and Tucker Sjomeling were in that class.
