Joey Dance's next home will be in Illinois, as he is heading to Northwestern to train at the Chicago RTC.

Dance was a 2012 junior world team member at 55kg, but did not compete much in freestyle while at Virginia Tech. He was a 2011 junior Fargo champ and placed third at University Nationals in 2014.

Dance's most recent freestyle experience came at the 2015 U.S. Open, where he went 2-2 and did not place. The two-time All American for Virginia Tech will very likely be competing at 57kg and training with Cody Brewer, who was fourth this past weekend in Las Vegas.
