You probably don't need much help getting amped for this weekend's World Team Trials, but how 'bout a little fantasy action to kick things up a notch with your friends?

Here's the deal - with U.S. Open winners or returning World Medalists sitting in the finals, the World Team Trials are a unique tournament for odds and fantasy scoring. So when/if you and your buddies are sitting around making your picks, we've come up with a proposed set of rules for a little friendly 'I-know-more-than-you' competition.

We start with a salary cap format. $10,000 for eight weights. For you math wizards out there, that's an average of $1,250 per pick. But it won't be that easay. We've come up with what we believe are challenging wrestler prices.

Scoring is simple - you accrue 100 points for a champion on your team, 70 for runner up, 50 for 3rd, and 30 for 4th.

For those not familiar with salary cap league - you can select any wrestler you'd like(even if someone else picks them) provided that 1) you only have 1 guy per weight and 2) you stay under the total salary cap of $10,000.

I'll give you one tip...Anyone sitting in the finals is guaranteed 2nd place, and 70pts, and thus the high salary price.
