No. 3 DJ Shannon Verbals To West Virginia
No. 3 DJ Shannon will be heading to West Virginia to wrestle for the Mountaineers in college.
Emille "DJ" Shannon has made his college decision, verbally committing to wrestle for West Virginia University. He is currently ranked third in the country at 170 pounds.
A two-time Missouri state champ for Christian Brothers College in Missouri, Shannon is No. 29 on the Class of 2018 Big Board and projects as a 165/174 for the Mountaineers.
After making the Super 32 finals last October, Shannon would run up a 44-0 record for CBC. He is the first ranked senior recruit to commit to WVU head coach Sammie Henson so far this year.
