The NCAA regular season gets underway this weekend, and the entries have started to trickle in for the Michigan State Open on Sunday in East Lansing, MI.

Third-ranked Michigan is bringing seven ranked wrestlers to Jenison Field House, and No. 7 Arizona State is also making the trip northeast with a slew of big names. Altogether, the Sun Devils' lineup will feature five of its six ranked athletes, not to mention Northwestern transfer and 2014 NCAA champion Jason Tsirtsis. No. 16 Central Michigan rounds out the field with four wrestlers competing who are ranked in the top 20. 

The 149 weight class is shaping up to be the deepest of the season-opening event, with four ranked guys competing. Josh Maruca (Arizona State), Davion Jeffries (Oklahoma), Justin Oliver (Central Michigan), and junior world medalist Ryan Deakin (Northwestern) are all set to collide this weekend on MSU's campus.
