Spencer Lee hints at the possibility that he could make his Iowa debut in Carver-Hawkeye on Friday night
The Iowa wrestling team shared its latest "move of the week" in a Twitter post on Monday, and the Hawkeyes may have hinted at a massive early-season change to their lineup in the process.
It’s time for the Move of the Week! We look forward to seeing you at our home dual vs Rider - Friday at 7PM! It’s Kids’ Day- ALL KIDS FREE!#FightForIowa #Hawkeyes pic.twitter.com/3qWF3fsrPV

As you can see, the reporter seems to indicate Spencer Lee's redshirt will be pulled, but Lee walks it back.
This possibility was discussed at length on FRL 244, and we know he weighed in for the Iowa City Duals but did not wrestle.
It is essentially unheard of for the Iowa coaching staff under Tom Brands to wrestle true freshmen, but this year may be an exception. We already saw Jacob Warner beat No. 3 Willie Miklus, and it seems pretty obvious Lee would be an upgrade over either Perez Perez or Justin Stickley at 125.
We won't know for sure until Friday night at 7 CT against Rider.
