Another shot by Lee and he scores a second takedown to go up 5-3. They go out of bounds. Turk scores an escape off the restart. Lee in on a shot as time runs out. He leads 5-4 going into the second.

2nd period: Turk starts on bottom. Lee has Turk flattened out and Turk gets hit for stalling. Riding time at 1:44 as Lee gives up the escape to Turk to tie it up then Lee scores another takedown and time runs out. 

3rd period: Lee starts on bottom. Another stall warning on Turk as he was riding, but not working for a turn and Lee gets a point. 1st period: Lots of hand fighting and footwork. No shot attempts as they approach the 1:30 mark of the first period. Misdirection shot and takedown for Retherford, then they go out of bounds. Zain doing what he does on top with a tough leg ride. Stalemate with 12 seconds left in the period. Escape by Sorensen off the restart. 2-1 going into the second.

2nd period: Sorensen starts on bottom. Sorensen catches Zain's leg coming in but can't do anything with it to gain the escape and it's stalemated. Sorensen caught it coming in again but Zain finally forces the leg in and flattens him out. Sorensen hit with stalling as time runs out. Zain has riding time locked up.

3rd period: Zain on bottom to start. Escape by Zain to go up 3-1. Shot by Sorensen, reattack by Zain to score a takedown. Escape for Sorensen. Tough handfighting to end the match. Zain has 3:07 of riding time and he gets the decision.

1st period: Shot by Pipher, go behind for Kemerer and he takes the 2-0 lead early. Escape by Pipher, takedown by Kemerer. Escape for Pipher, shot by Kemerer and they are stalemated in front headlock position. Shot by Pipher, another go behind by Kemerer and he takes riding time advantage of over 1:30 into 2nd.

2nd period: Kemerer starts on bottom. Escape Kemerer. Gains takedown shortly after then rides for a bit and gives up another escape to Pipher. Shot by Kemerer and he scores again to make it 11-3 as period ends.

3rd period: Pipher starts on bottom and gets escape to make it 11-4. Kemerer with another shot and scores a takedown to go up 13-4. Riding time is locked for Kemerer. He rides out and gets the 14-4 major.

165: #4 Alex Marinelli, Iowa vs #1 Vincenzo Joseph, PSU

1st period: Shot from Marinelli right away, he was in deep on a double and Cenzo pulled him up with double overs and was looking big early, but Marinelli battled his way out and no one scored. Double from space by Cenzo and he scores a takedown off it. Marinelli comes back with an escape to make it 2-1.

2nd period: Cenzo starts on bottom. Cenzo up to his feet a few times and great mat returns from Marinelli and they go out of bounds. More of the same on the restart, but Cenzo finally works his way out to make it 3-1. Attack from Marinelli and reattack from Cenzo to score a takedown off an inside trip, almost had some back points. Cenzo locks up a cradle, Marinelli fights out of it and they go out of bounds. Period ends at 5-2.

3rd period: Marinelli starts on bottom and scores escape to make it 5-3. Double overs and Cenzo looks inside trips but Marinelli catches him on his back to go up 9-5, escape for Joseph makes it 9-6. Short time left and Marinelli gets the 9-6 win.

1st period: Hall was looking big as he ducked into a cement job, eventually let it go and opted for a takedown then locked up a cradle and gets the fall.

2nd period: Sheed starts on bottom. Escape by Sheed, almost a reversal but they go out of bounds. Shot by Sheed, stopped by Wilcke. Low double by Wilcke, Sheed dives to a leg, they get stopped as their legs are tangled up. 

(Ref looking to see if Wilcke had a takedown, he had both legs but Sheed jumped to a leg. After review, no takedown.)

Back to action on their feet. Misdirection shot by Wilcke, Sheed jumps over top and they are stalemated. Period ends.
