Four-Time NCAA Qualifiers Yet To AA
Four-Time NCAA Qualifiers Yet To AA
There will be 17 four-time NCAA qualifiers that have yet to reach the podium.
The tournament field at the 2018 NCAA Championships appears poised to make history this week in Cleveland.
Along with potentially seeing the first trio of teammates to become four-time All-Americans, the team race is setting up to be one of the best we’ve seen in years. But while all that is happening, there are 17 four-time NCAA qualifiers who are looking to reach their first podium.
Of the list below, Navy's Jadaen Bernstein has come the closest to make the podium by reaching the round of 12 in both 2016 and 2017. In 2016, he claimed a huge upset win in the first round when he took out #4 seed Ethan Ramos of North Carolina.
Meanwhile, Michigan's Domenic Abounader, Pitt's Dom Forys, Solomon, and WVU's Jake Smith have each reached the round of 12 just once.
