Zeke Moisey Transferring To Nebraska
Zeke Moisey will be transferring to Nebraska to wrestle as the Huskers' 125 pounder in the 2018-19 season.
Former West Virginia standout Zeke Moisey has informed FloWrestling that he will finish his career in Nebraska as the Huskers' 125-pounder next year.
Moisey told our own Willie Saylor:
Had a great time. Lots of talent in that room and the coaching staff seems like a great fit.
A 2015 NCAA finalist, Moisey has one year of eligibility remaining. After finishing eighth this year at the national tournament in Cleveland, the Pennsylvania native has a career record of 83-36.
Less than a week ago, news broke that Moisey had been granted his release from West Virginia. The transfer comes less than a month after Sammie Henson was let go as WVU's head coach.
Currently, the Huskers have just one other 125lb wrestler on the roster, Dylan Gowin. Moisey coming in would allow incoming recruit Alex Thomsen to redshirt his freshman season, or Thomsen to move up to 133 if Jason Renteria redshirts or moves up in weight.
