Abas, a junior out of Rancho Bernardo High School, has a career record of 124-9. He was a state finalist as a freshman, finished third as a sophomore, and finally won his state title this past season.
Currently ranked third at 138 pounds, Abas projects as a 149 in college. An Ironman runner-up this past December, he also took a second-place finish in Fargo Cadet freestyle back in 2016.
The second-ranked prospect at 149lb, Abas was a runner-up at Super 32 in October, highlighted by his pin over Mitch Moore in the semis.
