All-American Justin Oliver is transferring from Central Michigan to North Carolina State for his final year of eligibility. Sources have confirmed the rising redshirt senior at 149 pounds is joining the Wolfpack, who are coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2018 NCAA tournament.

Oliver placed seventh for the Chippewas at NCAAs in 2016. Over the next two years, the Davison, Michigan, native fell one match short of All-American status, reaching the round of 12 in the consolations but advancing no further.

Oliver received his release from Central Michigan earlier this spring, along with his teammate Mason Smith, who has yet to officially find a new home. NC State was on Oliver's original list of schools in which he expressed interest, which also included Penn State, Arizona State, Iowa State, and North Dakota State.
