Fourth-year Wisconsin Badger Eli Stickley was tragically killed in a car accident Thursday evening.

The wrestling world was rocked by the death of 21-year-old Eli Stickley, who was tragically killed in a car accident Thursday evening.
The Wisconsin Badgers wrestling program, in which Stickley was a rising redshirt junior, tweeted the news earlier today.

Stickley was a star athlete at Graham High School in St. Paris, Ohio, where he won a state championship in 2014. In college, Stickley started for the Badgers the last two seasons, qualifying for the 2018 NCAA tournament at 141 pounds.
Stickley was a cherished friend and a fierce competitor. He will be missed.
