When I think raw power, the first wrestler that comes to mind is multiple-time World and Olympic champion Kyle Snyder. If you follow him on Instagram (which I don’t know why you wouldn’t) you’d see him putting up monster weight.
And while it may just be a variation of squats or bench or any other core power type of movements, the one thing that is essential is that it’s all about building raw power. In my previous iterations of building strength, I’ve focused on putting together groupings for a key body part or two, but we all know that in a wrestling match every muscle is engaged, and being a complete unit of power is the key.

Dustin Myers: 3 Med Ball Exercises For Speed & Power
Slam: Squat down and grab a medicine ball. Stay in good position as you pick it up, clean it and press it overhead. Sit down hard as you slam the ball off the ground, catching it on the rebound.
Throw: Pick up a medicine ball and hold in a front rack position. Perform a front squat then explode up, jumping as you throw the ball in a high arc.
Suplex: Squat down with a wide stance and grab a med ball. In one swift motion pick the ball up and act thru your hips as you come up onto your toes and slam the ball behind you.
Dustin Myers: Sled Sprints
Get low in a prowler position and drive as hard as you can into the sled. Sprint for the prescribed distance.
