Kyle Conel Seeking Medical Redshirt & Transfer
Kyle Conel announced via Twitter that he will be seeking a medical redshirt and as well as transferring to Penn State to finish his college career.
Kyle Conel was one of, if not, the biggest story of the 2018 NCAA tournament.
He took Cleveland by storm when he entered unseeded and pinned #1-seeded Kollin Moore in the first period to make the semifinals. Ultimately, he ended up finishing third in 2018 and came into this season as a potential title contender. However, an injury forced him to miss some mat time before announcing he would be out for the entire season.
Now the 2018 All-American has announced via Twitter that he will be seeking a medical redshirt and along with looking to transfer to Penn State to finish his college career.
If I am able to get a medical redshirt for next season, I will be attending Penn State University to pursue a masters and complete my final year of eligibility!

Conel was the #2 ranked wrestler at 197 coming into the season before he was sidelined and announced he would undergo season-ending surgery on Dec. 10.
