Copass The Latest Stud To Commit
Copass The Latest Stud To Commit
Hayden Copass leads the next generation of heavyweights into college.
The current generation of stud heavies is so loaded.
I've written of this ad nauseam. But tonight, the Wisconsin Badgers may have gotten the best of the next crop.
Hayden Copass, a small-school Illinois product, will be on the big stage going forward.
Although he's hit the limelight of national wrestling prestige — a multiple-time champion at Fargo (the nation's preeminent high school wrestling tournament) — Copass has otherwise hung under the radar as a small-school, multi-sport athlete.
That will be coming to an end as he elected to join one of the fastest rising programs in the country.
Wisconsin garnered the #7 recruiting class last year in coach Chris Bono's first year at the helm, and is in the midst of perennially forming top classes.
With two Top 40 commitments already in tow for the Class of 2020, Copass, the top-rated HWT in 2021, will serve as not the just the jewel of the Badgers future haul, but also as the heir apparent in perhaps the best era of college heavyweights.
