Fix was the NCAA runner-up to Nick Suriano last year and then went on to beat Thomas Gilman at Final X - Lincoln to make the United States world team at 57kg. Fix turned in a 1-1 performance at the 2019 World Championships in Kazakhstan.
With Kaid Brock likely out for the season with a torn ACL, that leaves the Cowboys with Colt Newton, Andrew Nieman, Conner Wilson, and Reece Witcraft on the roster at 133.
