Henson is currently ranked #7 at 132 and #22 on the Class of 2021 Big Board. Henson recently placed third at Super 32 which included a win over then #2 Jesse Mendez, #7 Daniel Cardenas, and #19 Pat Noonan. Henson also turned in a third-place finish this summer at Fargo with his lone loss coming to champion Angelo Rini.
Henson was fifth in Pennsylvania as a freshman at Waynesburg Central High School before moving back to Missouri and attending Christian Brothers College High School where he was a state champion last season. Wyatt is, of course, the son of former West Virginia head coach and Olympic silver medalist Sammie Henson.
Henson is the first commit in the class of 2021 for Iowa and projects as a 149-pounder.
