Two-time All-American Luke Pletcher is now up at 141 and will be taking on two-time New Jersey state champion Quinn Kinner, who's coming off a strong redshirt season where he put up a 16-2 record.
We thought we might see Sammy Sasso and Ke-Shawn Hayes square off, but Ohio State announced Ke-Shawn Hayes will not wrestle until the Michigan State meet which will likely act as a wrestle-off between Hayes and Sasso.

Elijah Cleary and Jaden Mattox should be very interesting, as the 157-pound spot appears to be up in the air. Cleary had wins last year over NCAA qualifier Zac Carson and blue-chip recruit Will Lewan. Mattox, on the other hand, was 13-3 during his redshirt and one of his setbacks came to Will Lewan.
165 will feature another must-see matchup as Ethan Smith, an NCAA qualifier at 174 a year ago, takes on true freshman Carson Kharchla who was a top-five recruit in the class of 2019. Could Kharchla go right away if he knocks off Smith?
Kaleb Romero began last season as the Buckeye's starter at 165 but ended up losing the spot when Te'Shan Campbell dropped from 174 and was Ohio State's postseason starter. The last of the Jordan brothers, Rocky, didn't wrestle a match last season but put up an impressive performance Tuesday afternoon against a very game Fritz Schierl.
Despite Kevin Snyder winning the preliminary wrestle-off Tuesday evening, Ohio State announced that Kollin Moore will take on Tyler Stein Thursday night.
Finally, even though Greg Kerkvliet said he was going right away, he will not wrestle-off against Chase Singletary because he is preparing to wrestle next week at the U23 World Championships.
