Gallagher won his first Ohio big-school state title in March when he knocked off then-#1 Connor Brady in the state finals and then followed that up by winning a Fargo title. In Fargo, he outscored his opponents 78-15 and won six of his seven matches by tech fall.
Gallagher chose Ohio State over Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The Ohio native is the first commit for the Buckeyes in the class of 2021.
