NCAA Agrees On Eligibility Relief For D1 Spring Sports
The NCAA agrees that spring sports should be granted eligibility relief for this season. There is still no word on how this could impact wrestling.
According to a recent tweet from Inside the NCAA, the NCAA Division I Council Coordination Committee agrees that eligibility relief is appropriate for spring sports.

Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic also tweeted about this topic citing a source that also supports eligibility relief for spring sports. This could result in athletes from spring sports being granted an additional year of eligibility.
Per source, NCAA sent a note to membership today saying it believes "it will be appropriate to grant relief for the use of a season for competition for student-athletes who have participated in spring sports."

NCAA will start working on issues tied to this & winter athletes.
There is still no word on the NCAA's stance on eligibility for NCAA winter sports, including wrestling, but the NCAA's support of eligibility relief for spring sports leaves a glimmer of hope for NCAA wrestlers.
