In addition to being an Olympian, Dennis was an NCAA finalist and two-time All-American. He will join the HWC after having been the head coach at the RTC South in Chattanooga, TN.
This won't be the first time Dennis has returned to Iowa City after an extended absence. He left the sport after falling in the 2010 NCAA finals but made an improbable return to the sport a few years later
Dennis' run to the 2016 Olympic team was less than traditional, and his unique approach to the sport will be interesting to follow as Dennis takes over at the Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
