After a week where the transfer portal seemed to be the hot new spot, there’s been a new development with UNC’s Kennedy Monday, who was one of the first guys to enter.
On Monday, Monday made his announcement via social media, in posts that have since been deleted, that he was entering the portal. Despite being in the transfer portal he was listed on the "do not contact" portion. But just a few days later and it looks like he’s had a change of heart on finding a new home and will stay with Coleman Scott and the Tar Heels.
Monday released a new statement via twitter:
After much consideration, I have decided to stay at Carolina. Thank you to everyone for the support. It really shows how many people rock with me. Love you guys ??? pic.twitter.com/1EhTqGtNVt

Assistant coach Tony Ramos added some sentiment via twitter as well.
