Like shoes, we’ve seen headgear evolve as well. Cliff Keen has produced what they call The Signature Headgear, which is probably the most popular fit.
The other CK headgear was dubbed “The Tornado,” which was a signature look for NCAA champs Anthony Robles, Kyle Dake, and Isaiah Martinez.
A few years ago they combined the look/shape of the Tornado and the material of the Signature to create the properly named, Fusion headgear.
While the first two styles are the most popular, they’re not the only ones. For guys like NDSU AA Steven Monk, it was all about this third option that came with forehead protection. This variation has evolved a bit over time, but the essence of the model remains.
And last is the halo. There’s really not much that can be said about this old school look that Mason Manville sported.
