Two Top 126s Staying Down
After Cooper Flynn and Troy Spratley and competed all of last season at 120, and Spratley at 129 this offseason, it was expected they would move up to 126. However, both have made the decision to cut back down to 120 at least for Super 32.
#22 on the Class of 2021 Big Board, Flynn is a National Prep and NHSCA champion. The Tennessee native who now competes for McDonough High School in Maryland committed to Virginia Tech in August.
Spratley is a hard-nosed New York native who now lives in Collinsville, OK. He made the Ironman finals last season and took 7th at 2019 Super 32, both at 120 lbs. He is currently #13 on the Class of 2022 Big Board.
PA’s Gary Steen Highest Ranking Senior Big Boarder
The highest-ranking 120-pounder, #4 Gary Steen, is also the highest-ranking senior in the bracket. A PA state champion, Beast of East, and Ironman champion last season, Steen currently sits at #14 on the Class of 2021 Big Board. He is committed to wrestle at Pitt next season.
Can Mason Gibson Repeat?
One of the biggest storylines to come out of 2019 Super 32 was Mason Gibson winning the event as an 8th grader. Well, he’s up two weights and back again this year. The younger brother of Cornell commit Erik Gibson, Mason really could be the next big thing.
Watch Mason Gibson win the 2019 106-lb Super 32 title below.

Will We See Kasak-Church Round IV?
Pennsylvania fans will be begging for this one. The two state placers split matches last season at 106. Tyler Kasak surprised a lot of people when he defeated Mac Church at the Team State Championships, but Church got revenge at the Individual State Championship.
Most recently Church won a dominate 6-1 match at PA Power's True Power event. Who will win round three?
Don’t Sleep On A Couple Iowa Hammers
Being from Iowa I am certainly biased, but I’m telling you right now to keep an eye on young Iowa unranked studs Ryder Block and Trever Anderson. Block went undefeated last season en route to an Iowa big class state title at 106 lbs. He went 2-2 at this tournament last year, but I expect him to do much better as a sophomore.
Anderson was a state champion as a freshman before taking third last season. The uncommitted junior is a teammate of Iowa commit Caleb Rathjen. Trever just picked up a nice win over Oregon State commit Caleb Coyle at IAwrestle’s Night of Conflict.
