In the last couple of days, Nahshon Garrett and Seth Gross have been added to the field at 57kg for the RTC Cup. Wolfpack Wrestling Club has added its own NCAA champion at the weight in Darian Cruz.

Cruz was an NCAA Champion in 2017 with an iconic sudden-victory win over Thomas Gilman in the semifinals before his 6-3 decision over Ethan Lizak in the finals. Cruz has his share of freestyle accolades as well. He was a bronze medalist at the 2020 Pan Am Championships this March.

The Wolfpack WC will see the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club and the Gopher Wrestling Club on day 1 of competition which means that Cruz could have a rematch with Dylan Ragusin or a match with Seth Gross in match 1 followed by Zach Sanders or Sean Russell in match 2. Full rosters available here.
