Indiana: 6 Penn State: 0

Penn State Wrestling's twitter says no 125-pounder was cleared for today.

133: #3 Roman Bravo-Young, Penn State vs Kyle Luigs, Indiana

1st period: Roman Bravo-Young comes out quick with a takedown right away. And immediately cuts Luigs. After scoring in the first 10 seconds, it takes RBY another 1:45 but he does get to another takedown with a nice snap to a hop go behind. Roman choosing to ride this time, but Luigs escapes on the edge with 16 seconds to go. RBY 4, Luigs 2. RBY with 49 seconds of riding time.

2nd period: Luigs goes down. Stand up off the whistle to a standing gramby, but RBY follows. Now he cuts Luigs 30 seconds. RBY snaps fakes going around each side a bit and eventually gets the takedown. He cuts Luigs with 40 seconds in the period. RBY with one shot in those last 40 seconds but not able to get the takedown. 6-4 RBY with 1:48 riding time.

3rd period: RBY chooses neutral. Double leg for RBY and he gets a takedown 30 seconds in. Right away he cuts Luigs and now Luigs is in on RBY's legs, but after a 10 seconds scramble RBY ends up on top. RBY cuts Luigs with 40 seconds to go, but it's Luigs scoring with a double leg as RBY got a little overzealous coming in. Luigs slips in the boots and rides Roman out the rest of the period. 11-8 RBY final including 1:58 riding time.

Indiana: 6 Penn State: 3

141: #3 Nick Lee, Penn State vs Cayden Rooks, Indiana

1st period: Nici Lee with a single leg to Rooks' right leg 12 seconds in. Lee comes close to tilting Rooks, but can't get him to break 90 degrees, so he cuts him. Rooks shoots, but Lee hits a beautiful reshot and takes Rooks down. Nick Lee now riding tough with a bar and same side wrist. Lee slips off the wrist and bar and puts the legs in and gets a four-count to increase his lead. Now a two-on-one tilt for a quick two points with 15 seconds in the period. 10-1 Nick Lee with 2:29 of riding time.

2nd period: Nick Lee chooses bottom. Switch off the whistle for Lee and transitions into a stand-up, but Rooks able to return. Nick Lee stands back up and turns into Rooks, who gets off balance and Lee is able to pick up a reversal. Lee looking tough on top, coming close to picking up back points a couple of times, but can't turn Rooks until there is 6 second left in the period, but he holds him for four as the period expires. 17-1 tech fall for Nick Lee.

Penn State: 8 Indiana: 6

149: #10 Jarod Verkleeren, Penn State vs #15 Graham Rooks, Indiana

1st period: Verkleeren shoots and the two get into a far ankle scramble. The scramble goes on for about 25 seconds, but neither is able to score. Rooks gets to a single leg and elevates, but Verkleeren dives under and the two get into another far ankle scramble that ends up in a stalemate. We end the first period scoreless. Rooks was the aggressor in the first period and Verkleeren was hit for a stalling warning.

2nd period: Verkleeren goes down. Verkleeren stands up, turns into Rooks, locks up double overs, and throws Rooks. Rooks was on his back for a second, but is able to get off quickly, so only a two-point reversal for Verkleeren. Rooks stands up and escapes with 1:03 left. Verkleeren shoots to Rooks' left leg, Rooks fights it off with a whizzer, so Verkleeren stands up with it. Verkleeren takes it back down to the mat and jumps up to a body lock, but the period ends and Rooks once again has a whizzer in. 2-1 Verkleeren.

3rd period: Rooks goes down. Rooks escapes 15 seconds in. I'm a little confused on how exactly, but Rooks now has four points and the lead on Verkleeren. Verkleen with a quick escape. Verkleeren gets to a front headlock position and tries to head pinch Rooks to a takedown, can't do it, but transitions to a double leg and comes VERY close to picking up a takedown on the edge to tie it up, but Rooks chest locks Verkleeren out of bounds and that's how the match ends. 4-2 win for Rooks.

Indiana: 9 Penn State: 8

157: #14 Brady Berge, Penn State vs Matt Ortiz, Indiana

1st period: Berge on the board first with a shot to takedown 40 seconds in. Ortiz stands up and escapes with 1:30 to go. A lot of hand fighting in the final 90 seconds, but no score. 2-1 Berge.

2nd period: Ortiz takes down. Ortiz escapes in the first 15 seconds. 2-2 now. Another defensive period. Tied at 2.

3rd period: Berge goes down. Ortiz rides for 30 seconds, but Berge gets up to his feet and escapes to take a 3-2 lead. Berge shoots with 50 seconds to go and tries to come out the back, but the position ends in a stalemate with 27 seconds to go. Ortiz pressures in and Berge hits a nice slide by, but the two go out of bounds and no takedown called. The officials talk it over and reverse the call on the mat to a takedown for Berge. 17 seconds to go. Now Indiana is challenging the call. Call is confirmed, so Ortiz is down. Berge wins 5-2.

Penn State: 11 Indiana: 9

165: #12 Joe Lee, Penn State vs Nick South, Indiana

1st period: Joe Lee comes out right away off the whistle and picks up the takedown. Right away South up to his feet and Lee lets him go. A couple of shots from each guy, but no more points put on the board. 2-1 Lee.

2nd period: Lee goes down. Lee stands up and escapes 15 seconds in. Good movement and snaps leads to a takedown for Nick Lee 1:20 left. Lee comes out front and hit a cow catcher. South hit his hip, but Lee isn't able to get him to his back and eventually a stalemate is called with 53 seconds to go. Off of the restart South is able to escape and then hits a beautiful fireman's carry, but Lee able to slip in a whizzer and fend off the takedown. The two go out of bounds with 3 seconds left in the period. 5-2 Lee with 52 seconds of riding time.

3rd period: South is down. South escapes, but Lee is able to get his riding time to 1:06.Lee gets on the attack and gets a takedown to increase his lead with 1:30 to go. Lee cuts South as he tries to get the major. South shoots and as the two go out of bounds Lee is warned for stalling. Lee has now slowed his pace. He's just holding position and looks content with a decision victory. South takes a couple more shots, but isn't able to score. Decision victory for Joe Lee.

Penn State: 14 Indiana: 9

174: #5 Carter Starocci, Penn State vs Donnell Washington, Indiana

1st period: Washington shoots a blast double and comes up to double underhooks, steps across the body and puts Starocci on his back! Washington able to hold him for a four-count and just like that DJ Washington is beating Starocci 6-0. Washington rides for a little under a minute before Starocci escapes. Another double for Washington but this time he's able to get the takedown off of it. Starocci stands up, but he drops in on a leg of Washington and the two scramble out of bounds. The entire time Washington's riding time continued to go up. He now has 1:19 of riding time and Starocci has to go back down after being very close to a reversal. 8 seconds to go in the period. Starocci stands up and Washington locks up the body and Starocci falls to his back and Washington gets another quick two count before the end of the period. 10-1 Washington with over a minute of riding time. What a wild first period.

2nd period: Washington goes down. Starocci breaks Washington flat. Washington isn't moving much and is hit for stalling 50 seconds in. Starocci hits a tilt and comes close to a two count, but official says just a one count. With 25 seconds count Starocci is able to get a two-point tilt. Starocci goes back to another turn and this time gets 4 points. 10-8 Starocci and Starocci now has riding time advantage.

3rd period: Starocci goes down. He stands up and escapes 8 seconds in. 10-9 now with the entire 3rd period to go. Starocci fires off two more shots, and isn't able to get a takedown, but getting close to working Washington into another stall call. 47 seconds to go, still 10-9. Double leg from Washington with 30 seconds to go. That shot might save Washington from another stall. Starocci in on a double with 10 seconds to go, but can't do it. DJ Washington with a huge win! 10-9.

Penn State: 14 Indiana: 12

184: #5 Aaron Brooks, Penn State vs Drayton Harris, Indiana

1st period: Low single for Aaron Brooks, Harris tries to circle behind, but Brooks feels it and scores the takedown 30 seconds in. After riding for 30 seconds Brooks cuts him, and drops in a double leg for two more. Brooks gets tough on top and rides Harris out for the rest of the period. 4-1 Brooks with 2:12 of riding.

2nd period: Brooks goes down. Brooks stands up and escapes. Right away Harris tries to shoot, but Brooks sprawls and scores. 15 seconds later Harris is able to escape off a standing switch. Double leg for Brooks and he scores with ease. And once again Aaron rides out Harris. 9-2 with 3:21 of riding time.

3rd period: Harris takes neutral. Quick shot for Brooks and he scores 16 seconds in. Harris gets to his feet and Brooks lets him go and another easy double leg for Brooks. Brooks up 10 with 1 minute to go. Brooks cuts Harris with 50 seconds to go and right away picks up another takedown. Now he comes out front and is looking for a cow catcher, but can't get it as Harris gets back up to his feet. Brooks hits an easy duck under, and that's how the match ends. 18-5 major decision for Brooks with 4:40 of riding time.

Penn State: 18 Indiana: 12

197: Levko Higgins, Penn State vs Nick Willham, Indiana

1st period: Double leg for Higgins. Willham sprawls and we end in a stalemate 50 seconds into the match. Same shot for Higgins and same sequence overall to a stalemate with 1 minute to go. Sweep single for Willham and on the edge he gets the takedown. Big takedown late in the first period for Willham. And a big mat return with 4 seconds to go in the period. 2-0 Willham.

2nd period: Willham takes bottom. Willham stands up off of the whistle and escapes. He shoots to the right leg of Higgins and is able to get it to his armpit and elevate to a nice trip finish. Higgins escapes quickly. Higgins shoots a head inside single. Willham sprawls, but it ends in a stalemate with 32 seconds to go. Willham shoots another step in single and uses a treetop finish to score another late period takedown. 7-1 Willham.

3rd period: Higgins goes down. Higgins escapes 25 seconds into the period. Now he shoots, and this time Willham is able to sprawl to a score. Willham now has a 9-2 lead with over a minute of riding time. Willham slips in the boots and is coming close to turning Higgins, but can't quite do it. Willham once again tries to turn Higgins but this time it backfires as Higgins is able to escape with less than 10 seconds to go! That means Willham only wins by a decision: 10-3.

Penn State 18 Indiana: 15

285: Seth Nevills, Penn State vs Rudy Streck, Indiana

1st period: Seth Nevills comes out like a lot of the PSU wrestlers have today and scores a takedown in the first 15 seconds. And Nevills with a bar arm to half and picks up the pin 1:45 in. And that will do it for the dual
