One year after committing to Pittsburg, the #14 recruit in the class of 2021, Gary Steen, has decided to flip his commitment to Penn State.
After much thought and time I am excited to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Penn State University. I want to thank my family, friends and coaches that supported me along the way. #WeAre🦁 pic.twitter.com/R5jNH0wsOz

Steen earned his elite ranking by winning both the prestigious Ironman and Powerade tournaments as well as two Pennsylvania state titles.

Currently #8 at 120 lbs, Steen projects as a 125/133 for the Nittany Lions. Penn State is no stranger to quality roster battles. With true freshman Robert Howard currently in his first of five years of eligibility and a redshirt to spare, it is likely Howard will move up to 133 after Roman Bravo-Young is done and steen fills in at the 125 spot.
