April 2 | 4 PM ET - Maryland vs WPIAL & 6 PM ET - Team USA vs Pennsylvania

120 - #1 Richard Figueroa, Selma, CA (Arizona State) vs #4 Brett Ungar, Notre Dame - Green Pond (Cornell)

Team USA’s Richard Figueroa is the top 120-pounder in the country for good reason, and while California has delayed its high school season, Figueroa has been finding matches. He most recently won a tough Rumble in Arizona tournament at the beginning of March. Meanwhile, Brett Ungar is coming off an outstanding performance at PIAAs where he beat both #7 Gary Steen and #5 Mason Gibson. He’s on a roll heading into this top-five battle.

126 - #1 Drake Ayala, Fort Dodge, IA (Iowa) vs #20 Joey Fischer, South Park (Clarion)

Joey Fischer is fresh off a PIAA title and also stood on top of the Powerade podium this year. He’s been rock solid this year, and now he has his biggest challenge of the season in #1 Drake Ayala. The future Hawkeye is back at 126 after moving up to 132 for the Iowa state tournament in order to avenge a loss to Ryder Block. He got that done and also took home titles at Super 32 and Who’s #1 this season.

132 - #3 Chance Lamer, Corvallis, OR (Michigan) vs #19 Dylan Chappell, Seneca Valley (Bucknell)

Super 32 finalist Chance Lamer makes the cross-country trek from Oregon to Pittsburgh. He won a tough Rumble in Arizona bracket in March where he had a win over #11 Michael Gioffre. He’ll lock horns with #19 Dylan Chappell, a Bucknell bound senior who’s seen national level competition all season and who made the finals of both PIAAs and Powerade.

138 - #5 Carter Young, Stillwater, OK (Northwestern) vs Brock McMillen, Glendale (Pittsburgh)

Brock McMillen isn’t ranked, but that’s no fault of his own. He’s a three-time state champ who’s passed just about every test he’s been given, he just hasn’t seen the ranked opponents he’s needed to crack the top 20. He’ll get his chance on Friday in #5 Carter Young of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Young helped lead Stillwater High to an Oklahoma team title and finished fourth in a brutal UWW Junior bracket this fall. He’s the favorite, but McMillen is a legit challenger.

145 - #16 Caleb Rathjen, Ankeny, IA (Iowa) vs #3 Wyatt Henson, Waynesburg Central (Iowa)

Hawkeye fans will want to keep their eyes on this one. Future teammates Wyatt Henson and Caleb Rathjen will lock horns in a match that will give us a peek inside the future of the wrestling room in Iowa City. Rathjen was an Iowa state finalist at 152 this season while Henson was a PIAA champ at 145.

152 - #1 Victor Voinovich, Broadview Hights, OH (Oklahoma State) vs #3 Alejandro Herrera-Rondon, Seneca Valley (Oklahoma)

We’ll have a Bedlam battle at 152 when #1 Victor Voinovich and #3 Alejandro Herrera-Rondon throw down. Voinovich, an Oklahama State commit, and Herrera-Rondon, a future Sooner, are two of the nation’s elite scramblers and mat wrestlers. If you like gritty matches where neither guy concedes position, circle this as a must-watch match.

160 - #5 Enrique Munguia, Elyria, OH (Kent State) vs #17 AJ Corrado, Burrell (Brown)

Both Corrado and Munguia are competing at the PWC on the heels of battling in absolutely loaded state championship brackets. Corrado brought the Giant Center to its feet when he pancaked #18 Avery Bassett in the state finals, and Munguia knocked off #7 Derek Fields before falling to #1 Paddy Gallagher in Ohio. These two are battle tested and ready to scrap.

170 - #18 Dillon Walker, Cincinnati, OH vs #8 Luca Augustine, Waynesburg Central (Pittsburgh)

Luca Augustine raised his stock last month in Hershey when he took out Trey Kibe in the state finals, reversing the result of the Super-Regional finals. He’ll see Dillon Walker who was fourth in a meat-grinder of a tournament at the Ohio State Championships. Walker has beaten Thane Lawrence, the PIAA AA champ, this year, and now he’ll try his hand against the AAA champ Augustine.

182 - #10 Peyton Craft, Blairstown, NJ (Cornell) vs #17 Cael Crebs, Montoursville (Navy)

Cornell commit Peyton Craft hasn’t had the benefit of competing in a Blair schedule this season, but he’s found competition regardless and has looked solid as usual. He’ll see Cael Crebs who used his dynamic offense to dominate the 189 lbs field at PIAAs.

195 - #8 Jaxon Smith, Cartersville, GA (Maryland) vs Drew Clearie, Nazareth Area (Brown)

Drew Clearie represents Team Pennsylvania after a third place performance at PIAAs. He's one of four wrestlers in action who will be wrestling for Brown next year. He takes on Jaxon Smith fresh off another Georgia state title. Smith currently sits at #8 in the country and will be taking his talents to Maryland as part of Coach Clemsen's new-look Terrapin squad.

220 - #14 Emmanuel Skillings, Broken Arrow, OK vs Jake Lucas, Cumberland Valley (Navy)

Emmanuel Skillings is one of the top remaining uncommitted recruits in the class of 2021. He's a big man who can do a backflip, and he brings a lot to this match. He'll have his hands full with a tough-nosed Jake Lucas who just had an outstanding performance in Hershey when he brought home a PIAA title.

285 - #3 Kyonte Hamilton, North Bethesda, MD (Rutgers) vs #10 Nate Schon, Selinsgrove (Iowa State)

Kyonte Hamilton is the lone wrestler doubling up for both Team Maryland and Team USA, and he'll have a solid slate of opponents. After wrestling Isiah Vance in the opening dual, he'll see Nate Schon in the main event. Schon closed out the entire PIAA Championships with a bang last month. If you haven't seen the final sequence in that bout, do yourself a favor and check it out.
