Big Man Super Match: Christian Carroll vs Nick Feldman

Things will get kicked off Friday night at 7 pm Eastern with the girl’s card presented by ASICS. Every match will be contested in freestyle. Outside of 94 lbs, every match will be for the top spot at the weight.

That women's card, which is presented by ASICS, is headlined by Shelby Moore and Katie Gomez. Gomez will be coming up from 117 lbs where she won a Cadet World title this past summer to take on Fargo double champ Moore in what is sure to be an excellent match.

The boy’s card, which is presented by Takedown Sportswear, will follow a similar format on Saturday evening starting at 7 pm Eastern. However, every match will be contested in folkstyle and use the new college scoring ruleset.

Saturday’s card will start with a 170 lbs four-man bracket #4 Rocco Welsh and #1 Manny Rojas will wrestle first followed by #5 Brayden Thompson and #3 Gabe Arnold. The winners will face each other in the co-main event of the evening for the undisputed #1 spot.

In the main event of the evening, the #1 ranked wrestler at 220 lbs, Christian Carroll, is bumping up to take on the #1 wrestler at 285 lbs, Nick Feldman, in a big man super match. Carroll is a Super 32 and Fargo champion from Indiana. Feldman is a National Prep champion who has held a #1 spot since winning at Who’s Number One last year.

All-in-all, there will be 24 matches between 46 different wrestlers from 21 different states with a list of credentials that includes 5 age level World champions, 6 different age level World medalists, and more than 30 total Fargo titles. Not too bad. Keep it locked into FloWrestling.org as we will continue to roll out coverage including previews, analysis, hype, and more, over the course of this week and next week.
