Kamran Ghasempour (IRI) and Magomed Kurbanov (RUS) are two of the best competitors in the bracket and will be wrestling in their first senior world championships. Kurbanov and Ghasempour will also be seeded #1 and #2 respectively so there is a small chance Cox could wrestle either in the first round and a more likely chance he will have to defeat both to win his third world championship.
