This announcement comes two weeks after Stanford announced Joseph would be stepping down from his assistant coaching position. Joseph joined the Stanford program in June of 2021 where he was a full-time coach until deciding to come out of competitive retirement for the US Open in April of 2022. Joseph looked sharp at the Open taking out Alex Dieringer and Taylor Lujan before falling to David McFadden for 2nd place.
Prior to his time at Stanford/California RTC Joseph was an athlete at Penn State where he won NCAA titles in 2017 and 2018. His senior year was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Championships.
Coached by Mark Perry, Zeke Jones, Lee Pritts, Frank Molinaro and others, the Sunkist Kids RTC continues to grow. Their roster of athletes now includes, but is not limited to, Zahid Valencia, Anthony Valencia, Josh Kramer, Kayla Miracle, Forrest Molinari, and Dom Parrish.
